Henrietta Booher (or Booker) was Thomas' second wife; his first wife was Lovica Beardsley.

DIED.-In Yankton, Dakota, on Wednesday evening, January 24th of pleurisy Mrs. H.M. Edwards, relict (sic) of Col. T.A.H. Edwards, aged about 67 years.
The deceased was born in New Jersey in 1810. She removed to Yankton with her husband and family ten years ago from Manitowoc, Wis., and has since resided here. About eight years ago she was attacked with a paralytic stroke from which she never fully recovered. Two or three years afterwards her husband, Col. Edwards, died, and this added much to her already great afflictions. In her late illness she suffered much, but endued her sore trials with a remarkable degree of fortitude. Her children yet living are Mrs. W.F. Eldrige, Mrs. Chas. Bachus, A.L. Edwards, E.A. Edwards and C.H. Edwards of this place and Mrs. Baker, of Manitowoc, Wis. Mrs. Edwards has during her long life been a devoted christian of the Episcopal faith, and her death is deplored by all who knew her. We tender our sympathy to the afflicted relatives.-Dakota Herald.
