Harry Raymond Woodcock, 73, of 114 Greenview Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina passed away on November 19, 1988 at Hillhaven Convalescent Center after a long illness.
Harry was born in Atkinson, North Carolina on February 25, 1914, the son of the late Raymond W and Lillian Taylor Woodcock. He was a former member of Atkinson Baptist Church and had retired from General Motors Manufacturing Plant, Cleveland, Ohio.
Harry was married to Frances Goss Woodcock; one son, Harry Robert Woodcock and his wife Joyce of Leavenworth, Kansas; one brother, LeRoy C. Woodcock of LaMore, California; two sisters, Elizabeth W. Johnson of Wilmington, North Carolina and Hazel W. Stone of Ripley, Mississippi; one grandson, Robert Kevin Woodcock of Leavenworth, Kansas.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 22, 1988, in Oakdale Cemetery with Dr. Jesse V. Bone officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 pm on Monday at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home.
Harry will be sadly missed by family and friends.
