Hazel N. Acuff, 91, of Seaside, died of natural causes Sunday, July 22, 2001, in Monterey.
She was born in Rego, Ill., and she and her husband, Paul E. Acuff, moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963.
Survivors: Sons, Billy P. Acuff of Seaside and Charles H. Acuff of Silverdale, Washington; brother, James Taylor of Grand Chain, Ill., ; sister, Juanita Hisman of Anna, Ill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: Memorial services, 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, at Mission Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove Ave., Seaside.
Memorials: Monterey Pines Skilled Nursing Facility, 1501 Skyline Drive, Monterey 93940.
