CALVERT - Anna M. Calvert, 90, of New Martinsville, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 1997, in New Martinsville Health Care Center. She was a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Calvert, in 1972; her parents, Isaac and Mary Long Carney; a brother, Luther Carney; a sister, Martha Burley; a granddaughter; a great grandson. Surviving are a son, Ray of New Martinsville; three daughters. Alvetta Yoho of Warren, Frances Owens of New Martinsville and Connie Rowland of Proctor; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great-children; three stepgreat-granchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Friends received 2-9 p.m. today at Grisell Funeral Home, Ratcliffe Chapel, 751 Third St., New Martinsville, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment in Jolliffe Cemetery, Silver Hill.
