Deceased Name: Rev. P. D'Alessandro, was hospital chaplain

The Rev. Patrick A. D'Alessandro, 73, of Villa Vianney, 915 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, died Sunday in the Lebanon Veterans Administration Medical Center.

He was ordained a priest in the Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg on April 26, 1980, by Cardinal William H. Keeler. He served as assistant pastor at St. Lawrence, Harrisburg; Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Lancaster; and St. Aloysius, Littlestown; and as chaplain for the Adams County Migrant Ministry and Polyclinic Medical Center.
He was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School, Philadelphia; Holy Apostles Seminary, Cromwell, Conn.; and Sacred Heart School of Theology, Hales Corners, Wis.; and was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Surviving are a nephew, Joseph Verone, and a niece, Jeanette Klimchuk, both of Folsom.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Cathedral Parish of St. Patrick. Burial will be in the Priests Circle, Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Twp.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday in the cathedral, where an evening prayer service will be held at 8 Wednesday.
Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton, is handling arrangements.
