On Jan. 13th my dear grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, passed away and left us with aching hearts, but we bow in humble submission knowing that God always does what is best, for us, and we say, Thy will be done. Weep not, dear children, for your loved one is at rest, safe in the arms of Jesus, safe on His gentle breast. You have a treasure Laid up in heaven waiting and watching for you, and some day you will be with her again around the great white throne of God. What a grand reunion that will be. Up there we shall know not a sorrow, up there we shall know not a care, up there is no sickness nor dying, no heartaches, no burden to bear. ------Etheline Adams ( Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., Page 7, January 21, 1926.)
