Per Patoka Record of Death Book H-22, page 56

Was a twin to Joseph (not documented)

Told to Janet DOUGLAS by her dad, Clarence Wilshire ELLIOTT, August 6, 1983.

Thomas Wilshire ELLIOTT had 3 brothers, John, George, & Vince. John was stabbed to death near Milltown at a dance. Vince went west to track down John's killer. Each time Vince left on his 'trip' to find the killer, his wife always set his place at the table as if she expected him to walk in the door at meal time, regardless of how LONG he was gone. Each time he came home from his search he went to work on the farm as though he had just been in to town.

Then one morning Vince got home just in time for breakfast, took off his gun belt and ate breakfast. After breakfast he cleaned and oiled his gun and put it away for good. The family figured he had got his man.
