Mrs. Minnie Maybelle Brown, of 1420 20th Ave. died Monday at 5:40 p.m. at her residence. She is survived by: Husband, Charles Brown, Meridian: daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Ellis, Marietta, GA.; six sisters, Mesdames Frances Man, Lizzie Snedden, Birmingham; Annie Dill, Rome, GA. Essie Green, Bessie Haney and Bonnie Bowman, Cedartown, GA.; two brothers, W. E. Baton Rouge, La and James Smith, Bluffton. Prayer service will be held Tuesday at 5 p.m., from the residence. The Revs. A. B. Harmon, H. G. Johnson and Strickland will officiate. Accompanied by relatives, the body will be sent to Cedartown, GA. leaving Wednesday at 2:35 a.m. (The Meridian, Meridian, Miss., December 6, 1949)
