Annie Laura Mae Smith Dill, age 98, of Ocala, FL. formerly of Cedartown, passed away Sunday, February 12, 1995 after an extended illness. Mrs. Annie Smith Dill was born July 20, 1896 in Bluffton, AL. She was a retired homemaker and a former merchant in Cedartown. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Mrs. Dill was preceded in death by her husband, Littleton Owens Dill and 2 sons Cecil Owens Dill and Dewey Seals Dill. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Evelyn Headrick Wynne of Rome, GA. and Mary Engleman of Ocala, FL; sister, Bonnie Hudgins Wallace of Breman; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 15, 1995 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Brooks and Rev. Dale Fincher officiating. Interment will follow in the Etna Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 until 9 PM. At other hours the family will be at Mary Ann Dill Womack's residence in Silver Creek. Pallbearers will be: Benny Dill, Jr., Mario Reyes, Michael Gonzales, Keith Dill, James Calvin Headrick, Charles Smith, Gerald Headrick, Jimmy Ivey and Jeff Headrick.
