Mrs. Friedrich was the daughter of Rev. Edward Fuhrmann and his wife Hedwig Schink, who were born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and Elberfeld, Germany respectively. She had two brothers. Rev. Edward Fuhrmann, Jr., and Rev. Ferdinand George Walter Fuhrmann (Finda-a-grave Memorial 252057526). She also had an older sister Ida. As a child, Mrs. Friedrich spent a lot of time with her family at their summer camp on Big Bowman Pond in Taborton, NY. She was married to Dr. Adam Henry Friedrich prior to 1920. The couple had two children: Ramon in 1920, and Erna in 1923. Mrs. Friedrich was an accomplished pianist and organist. She was an organist for her church for many years and taught piano lessons from her home as well.

Surviving are a son, Ramon, Honolulu; a daughter Mrs. Maurice Kooba, here; a brother Edward Fuhrmann, Ridgewood, NJ; and three grandchildren.
