Funeral services for James Everett Little, 80, of 1909 Hull St., who died Saturday (November 28, 1970) at 1 p.m. in a Rome hospital following a sudden illness, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Henderson Frazier chapel with the Rev. Harvey Brown officiating. Interment will be in Floyd Memory Gardens. Mr. Little was born in Polk County Sept. 7, 1890, son of the late Ben and Mary Ann Little. He was a retired employee of the Battey State Hospital, and a member of Etna Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Clifford Little of Lindale; four daughters, Miss Virginia Little of Lindale, Mrs. Sarah Howard of Silver Creek, Mrs. Mary Ferguson of Hampton, Va., and Mrs. Hazel Miller of Highrose, N.M.; one sister, Mrs. Allie Dempsey of Cedartown; sixgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers include Clifford Little, M. C. Dempsey, Herman Poe, Granger Poe, Jim Sanders, and Freddie Slaughter. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 P.M.
