Mrs. Belle Smith, age 95 of 120 School Lane passed away Friday Morning in a Rome Hospital.
She was born June 23, 1891 in Resaca, GA., member of the Mountain Home Baptist Church and was a retired Goodyear employee.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frances Farmer of Cedartown, Mrs. Viola McElwee of Rome; 128 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at 4:00 P.M. from the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Anderson, the Rev. A. J. Carr officiating. Interment followed in Jackson Chapel Cemetery.
