Cause of death: Fam tradition of his death (three versions which conflict)
(1) He was taking a sick child [Fanny] to the doctor and died of a heart attack after returning to Pipe Creek, Bandera Co,TX. He is bur at Pipe Creek.
(2) He died on a cattle drive to Kansas and is buried in the San Antonio area [since we found his marker, we know this isn't true]. BCB
(3) Joseph was taking dau Sarah Frances "Fannie" to Doctor in Austin, TX - she had a growth on her eye- after arriving
he came down with pneumonia and died.
