Surviving were listed as his wife, three sons, F.H. Morris of Greensboro, Cpl. J.W. Morris and S/Sgt E.R. Morris; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin Taylor of Fr. Belvoir, Va., and Mrs joan Shofford of Hwaaii, and his mother, Mrs. Ella Morris Cheek of Asheboro.
