Bryant Slaughter of Esom Hill passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 1994. Mr. Slaughter was born on December 5, 1977, in Floyd County. He lived all his life in Esom Hill and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Surviving are: his parents, Jackie and Edith Slaughter of Esom Hill; two sisters, Jacqueline Astin, Cedartown, and Susan Knowles, Esom Hill; one brother, Ken Slaughter, Esom Hill; one nephew and one niece; grandparents, Velma Slaughter, Esom Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Vinson, Rome. Funeral services were held at Shiloh Baptist Church on Tuesday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Robert Wright and Gene Beck officiating. Interment followed at Shiloh Baptist Church. Pallbearers were: Matthew Taylor, Jon Taylor, Jason Harrell, Chris Lorrens, Jason Steed, and Randall Chandler. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
