CEDARTOWN — Billy Carl Slaughter, 41, Esom Hill Rte 1, died Tuesday, April 21. Mr Slaughter was born in Alabama on Nov 29, 1939 and resided in Polk County, Georgia most of his life. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Slaughter, Esom Hill; his widow, Mrs Dalesa Daniels Slaughter, Esom Hill; two sons, Mike Slaughter, Valdosta and Tommy Garner, Cedartown; two daughters; Miss Lori Slaughter, Cedartown and Miss Connie Slaughter, Esom Hill; one brother, Jackie Slaughter, Esom Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Don Wheeler, Esom Hill and Mrs. Pat McAlpin, Tallapoosa. Graveside services were held at 4 p m today in Shiloh Cemetery with the Rev Hobert Pierce officiating.
