I remember my grandmother's laughter.
She:
--so much wanted to laugh
--needed to laugh
--was a girly-girl
--loved jewelry
--was so generous that if you commented on her pretty costume brooch, she would give it to you
--loved to dye her hair red. We just never knew which color of red it was going to be: carrot, beet, auburn, etc.
--wanted her fingernails and toenails painted RED
--wanted red lipstick
--could be quite cranky
--was beautiful to us
Lotsa love to you, our Beloved NaNa.
