Lampasas Resident's Funeral Conducted
LAMPASAS, Oct. 24

Funeral services for D. T. Briggs Sr., 71, lifelong resident of Lampasas who died Sunday were held at the First Methodist Church here Monday afternoon.
Briggs, active in business and civic affairs here, was a Mason and a member of the Methodist Church board.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Joe B. Rose of Sonora; four son, Wallace, D. T. Jr. and Porter Briggs of Lampasas, and Melton Lee Briggs of Houston; his mother, Mrs. Birdie Briggs, and three sisters, Miss Belle Briggs and Mrs R. R. Whigham, all of Kempner, and Mrs. Lewis Ulrich of Wichita Falls and two brothers, Don of Port Arthur and Fred Briggs of Happy.
