Mamie Lee Cannon, 71, wife of Lorrie W. Cannon, died Tuesday in a Georgetown hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today in Oak Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by McKenzie Funeral Home, will be in Oak Ridge Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Cannon was born in Williamsburg County, a daughter of Henry C. Elliot and Shellie W. Elliot. She was a charter member of Oak Ridge Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and was a member of the Women's Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Wilmer Cannon and Alton Cannon, both of Andrews; two daughters, Judy Rogers of Andrews and Mary Lee Thompson of Columbia; a brother, Johnny Elliot of Georgetown; four sisters, Beulah Nell McCants of Andrews, Carmen Weaver of Charleston, Myrtis Elliot of Georgetown, and Opal Taylor of St. Stephen; and 10 grandchilddren.
