Cleo was the only daughter of Lee Bert and Carrie Cooley.
She was diagnosed with tuberculosis of the hip at the age of 15 which migrated to her lungs by 16. Despite her illness she attended Queen Anne High School. She passed away in 1925. She was 18 and engaged to be married.
