Esther Rose Frederick, age 72, Wittenberg, died Wednesday, June 11, 1969 at Tigerton Hospital.
She was born February 15, 1897 in Wittenberg, the daughter of the late August and Emily (Zahn) Hanke.
On June 25, 1919 Esther was united in marriage to Otto J. Frederick in Wittenberg. He preceded her in death on September 20, 1968.
Survivors include one brother, Herman Hanke; one sister, Ida (Arthur) Schwenke; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Esther was preceded in death by four brothers, Paul, William, Charles and Emil.
Funeral services were held June 14, 1969 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. The Rev. Richard Borchers officiated. Interment was in Forest Home Cemetery, Wittenberg.
