Mrs. Walter Christine
(Thena) Kellenbenz, 84, of 202
S. Second St., St. Nazianz, died
Thursday morning at Park
Lawn Nursing Home,
Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at
9:45 a.m. Saturday at
Christianson-Deja Funeral
Home and at 10 a.m. at St.
Gregory Catholic Church, St.
Nazianz. The Rev. Cyril
Diekrell, S.D.S., will officiate
with burial in the church
cemetery.
Mrs. Kellenbenz was born
Oct. 23, 1890, at Neosho, Wis.,
daughter of the late Peter and
Theresa Remmel Weinsheim.
She attended Hartford High
School and Milwaukee
Teachers College. She is a
former teacher and housewife.
She was married to Walter
Kellenbenz Oct. 30,1916, at St.
John Catholic Church,
Milwaukee. Mr. Kellenbenz is
a longtime retired
businessman and a funeral
director at St. Nazianz. She
was a member of St. Gregory
Christian Mothers and the
Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include her
husband, Walter; two sons,
Wallace and Ralph, of
Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs.
Robert (Dorothy) Thomas, of
Hartland, Wis.; two grandchildren
and three great
grandchildren. Two sisters and
a grandson preceded her in
death.
Friends may call at the
funeral home from 4 to 9
o'clock this Friday evening
where the Rosary will be
recited at 8 o'clock.
