Vena Bob LeSueur Gates, 83, died Monday, April 5, 2010 at Holiday Hill Nursing Home in Coleman. Private services will be held at the Old Valera Cemetery, Coleman County, Texas. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Vena Bob was born May 28, 1926 in Wichita Falls, Texas, a daughter of Lee LeSueur and Kate Douglas LeSueur. She grew up in the Talpa and Valera area of Coleman County and graduated from Coleman High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bill Gates of the Philippines, Ed Gates of Abilene and Tom Gates of Buffalo Gap; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
