Father Neville was pastor of St. Patrick's Church in St. Johnsville, N.Y. when he died. He was also pastor of St Lucy's Church in Altamont, N.Y.. He was born in Troy, N.Y. and went to La Salle Institute in Troy. He then went to Manhattan College and Dunwoodie Seminary in Manhattan. He was ordained in 1903 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany, N.Y. and went on to assuume pastoral duties in various towns through out New York State. He is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy, New York, along with his Mother, Catherine Hogan Neville, his sister, Bridget Donovan Shea and her husband Arthur A. Shea. His sister, Margaret Neville Heffernan, and his brother Thomas F. Neville are also buried there. Father Neville's favorite song was "Danny Boy". He used to sing it as he played along on the piano.
