James Norris Clark, 44, a resident of Corpus Christi for nine years, died Friday at his home after a sudden illness.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Galloway & Sons chapel. Rev. Ben David will officiate, and organist Mrs. Sue Ellwood will sing "Asleep in Jesus" and "Just a Closer Walk with Thee."

Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Lewis, Bruce Allen, Hugh Robinson, Ross McClendon, Bennie David and Joe Stuart.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leland Knight, Praither Cook, Kenneth Kline, Charles Crum, Floyd Franks, Cliff Lancaster, David Ryan and Ken Haley.

Burial will be in Mineral Cemetery.

The son of John Kimball and Margaret (George) Clark. Clark was born in Three Rivers on Oct. 1, 1929. He married Annette Hensley in Corpus Christi on June 1, 1968. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a civil service employee, serving as a products tester. he was a member of the Baptist Church.

He is a survived by his wife, Mrs. Annette Clark of Corpus Christi; three sons, Kimball, Charles and Wesley Clark, all of Robstown; his mother Mrs. J. K. Clark of Taft; one brother, Sam Clark of McAllen; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie McGilvray Cline and Mrs. Edith Williams of Victoria, Mrs. Margaret Wininger of Rockport, Mrs. Catherine Pressley of Taft; and Mrs. Johnnie Hinnant of Tulsa Okla.
