He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth.
Survivors include a son, Dale, of Idaho; a daughter, Laura, of Michigan; brothers, William and Edward, both of New York, and Paul, of Kentucky; and three granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. A hero with a gentle soul who spread joy, laughter, and respect to all he met.
Carl's inurnment will be at National Cemetery with honors. John 3:16.
