William Edward Dillon a Dairyman by trade. He was my grandfather and loved the Lord. He was called by family and friends by his shortend middle name, "Ed". Grandpa Dillon wanted to serve in the US Army but was not allowed in due to him being a dairyman so he enlisted in the Idaho Volunteer Reserves and drilled on weekends in the fields with his unit. All he was given was a sholder patch and collar ensignias.
