Mrs. Sula Francis Futch, 71, a resident of Orange County for the last 30 years, died Wednesday in a local hospital after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Futch was born in Bullock County, Ga. She was a member of Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Clara Hoover, Orlando; Mrs. Baden Weatherbee, Taft; Mrs. Iona Henley, Orlando; four sons, Frank Futch, Taft; Pleasant Futch, Hickock, Ga.; Curtis Futch, Orlando; and Thomas Futch, U. S. Navy, stationed in Atlantic City, N. J.; one brother, Brooks McElveen, Groveland, Ga.; five sisters, Mrs. Lela Evin, Concord, N. C.; Mrs. Jane Newman, Mrs. Naomi Donaldson, Mrs. Maggie Burnsed, Savannah, Ga., and Mrs. Ruth Rimes, Great Falls, S. C.; 22 grand-children and 10 great-grandchildren. Fairchild Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
