Funeral for Chris Mitchell, 24, of Decatur will be today at 11 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Canterbury officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Mitchell died Wednesday at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. He was born July 10, 1970, in Morgan County.
He is survived by one son, Jacob Mason Mitchell of Decatur; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Mitchell, Sr. of Decatur; his mother, Donna Church of Decatur; one brother, John Mitchell, Jr., of Decatur; and his grandmother, Mary Mitchell of Hartselle.
Pallbearers will be Mark Smith, Jerry Brown, Mark Freeman, David Cook, Keith Nelms, Keith Reece, and Mark Cannon.
