CLARA CITY - Gladys Ammermann age 86 of Clara City passed away Monday evening at the Clara City Care Center. Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Thursday at Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Clara City and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Clara City.
Gladys Cora Ammermann was born in Rheiderland Township, Chippewa County, Minnesota on May 20, 1926, the daughter of Conrad and Anna (Fokken) Tebben.
She was baptized into the Christian faith August 1, 1926 at Bethany Reformed Church. Gladys grew up and attended school in Clara City, graduating with the Class of 1944.
On February 20, 1948 Gladys was united in marriage to Richard Ammermann. To this union three children were born.
Gladys was a loving mother and cared for the house as a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, baking, and spending time with her family.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1995; parents: Conrad and Anna Tebben; and a brother John Tebben.
