An esteemed East Wilton correspondent writes: Mrs. Inda Hayes died July 31st, aged 84 years. Mrs. Hayes was the daughter of Henry Butterfield, one of the first settlers of this town, married for first husband Benjamin Butterfield of Farmington, who was the son of Ephraim Butterfield, one of the first settlers of that town. She lived sixty years on the farm where she died. Mr. Hayes died about seven years ago.
