DEATH CLAIMS COUNTY FARMER

George A.Mook, 64, Succumbs Here

George Albert Mook, age 64, well-known Shelby county farmer, succumbed at his home, 873 South Tompkins street, at 2:05 a.m. Wednesday. Mr. Mook had been ill for the past several weeks and death was to due to a complication of diseases.
Mr. Mook had been engaged in farming for a number of years and owned and operated a farm on the Boggstown Road. He was a member of the Waldron Baptist Church, where he had served several years as a deacon.
Born in Fayette county on June 27, 1881, he was the son of Conrad and Barbara Schillinger Mook, In 1901, Mr. Mook was united in marriage to Miss Emma Hendrickson and to this union were born two children, who survive with the widow; Marion Mook, of Muncie, and John Mook, of Chicago, Illinois. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters, Carl Mook, of Milroy; John Mook, of Columbus; Mrs. Katherine Fletcher and Mrs. Carrie Avey; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at the Loren H. Murphy funeral home, with Rev. Clarence Hager, of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be made in Forest Hill cemetery. Pallbearers to serve will be Robert Moorhead, Carl Roell, Harvey Breedlove, Leo Wendell, Homer Lyons and Clark McKenney.
