—Mrs. Helen Alspaugh, 54, Rt. 5. Monticello, died at 11 p.m. Saturday at White County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient two weeks. She had been ill one year.
Born Aug. 1,1920, at Idaville, she was the daughter of Harry and Hazel Swayze Hardy. She was married Nov. 29, 1942, to Lennie Alspaugh, who survives.

A Monticello resident since 1941, she had been employed 10 years in a Twin Lakes School Corporation cafeteria. She was a member of the Pious Chapel Church.

Surviving with the husband are a son, Terry, Monticello; a sister, Mrs. Theo Lambie,
Greensburg, Pa.; a brother Albert Hardy, Gary; and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pious Chapel Church north of Idaville, the
Rev. David Callighan of officiating. Burial will be in the Idaville cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. Miller-Voorhis funeral home
is in charge of arrangements.
