Mr. Buchanan, 76, was a retired produce dealer. He was a Tulsa resident since 1923. He was one of the first produce dealers to install refrigerators in which he stored vegetables for year-round sales. He observed his golden wedding anniversary with his wife, Della, in November, 1958. In addition to his wife, he was survived by daughters: Mildred Buchanan, a Tulsa police matron; Fern Fletcher of Pateros, WA; sons: Chatt Buchanan, a Tulsa firefighter, Harry Buchanan, a police office in Westminster, CA., Robert (Buster) a Joplin, Mo., truck driver, and Bill Buchanan of Tulsa; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren at the time of his death.
