Mrs. J. F. Stainbrook - Mollie A. Long, daughter of Lewis N. and Rachael Long, was born November 22, 1854 in the state of Ohio, and departed this life September 28, 1933, at her home in Parker, Kansas, at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 6 days. Mrs. Stainbrook moved to Linn county, Kansas, with her parents in early life. She was married to J. F. Stainbrook November 11, 1875. To this union five sons were born: Daniel, Aral, and Harrison of La Cygne, Kansas, 2 children having died in infancy. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, three sons, seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. W. T. Cook, Kansas City, Mo., two half-sisters, Mrs. Wm. Davis, Paola, Kan., and Mrs. K. Anderson, Pittsburg, Kan.; three brothers, Charles Edward Long, Kansas City, Mo., Frank A. Long, Kansas City, Mo., George W. Long, San Jose, California, one brother, Wm. H. Long, and three sisters, Martha McCarty, and two younger sisters, having preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at the home at Parker, September 30. Burial in 96 Cemetery.
