Lawrence W. Johnson, 75, passed away February 3, 2006. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars serving in the U.S. Army for 30 years, and was a Command Sergeant Major.

Beloved husband for 23 years of Mary J. (nee Weitzel); proud father of Kazuo; proud step father of Kevin, Kent, Kurt and Jeanne Leferre, Karen (Doug) Schreiber; devoted grandfather of Kyler, Jennifer, Catherine, Kelsey, Kent Jr., Andrew and Mathew; the son of the late William and Louise Johnson of Lexington, VA; dear brother of Fred; fond nephew of Lenwood (Emma) Isaac and Mary (Kenney); and many cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM at MARSH FUNERAL HOME, 305 Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Paul the Apostle. Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM with interment at Ft. Sheridan Cemetery, Highwood, IL. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1300 N. Skokie Highway, Suite 104, Gurnee, IL.
