A native of Fort Wayne, he had lived here all of his life. He was a member of the West Creighton Avenue Christian Church, Moose Lodge, and the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite at Pontiac, Michigan.
Before his retirement two years ago, he had been employed at International Harvester Company.
Surviving are the son, Jack, Dearborn, Michigan; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Morton and Mrs. Mary Partin, both of Fort Wayne; the stepmother, Mrs. Eva Braden, Fort Wayne; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Meitz, also of Fort Wayne.
Friends will be received at the D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home after 7 pm today. Services will be Wednesday at 10 am in the funeral home, the Rev. E. Clayton Gooden officiating with burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
