WIPPERFURTH AELING - Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Wipperfurth Aeling, age 56, of Spring Lake, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born September 16, 1953 in Grand Haven to William J. and Diana L. (Horton) Wipperfurth. Following graduation from Spring Lake High School, she attended Southern Colorado State College. On May 13, 1991, she married Michael E. Aeling in Florida; wedding officiated by the late Rev. Jim Marsh. After traveling the world together under the employ of golf course design company Dye Designs, they returned to Spring Lake in 1997. Beth loved kayaking, sailing, skiing, golfing, cycling and walking the beaches all over the world. She also enjoyed her local job at Spring Lake's Ship & Shop. Survivors include her loving husband, Michael; beloved parents, Bill and Diana Wipperfurth, Spring Lake and Longboat Key, FL; grandmother, Betty Horton of Conneaut, OH; dear sisters, Karen (Brian) Dickey, Kentwood, Amey Horning, Grand Haven, Diana (Brad) Bench, Spring Lake; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2010 at Spring Lake Presbyterian Church with Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating. Friends may meet the family 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 11, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Spring Lake. Memorial contributions may be given in Beth's name to the University of Michigan Transplant Center (www.michigantransplant.org).
