George Thomas Rabon, 60, retired farmer, of North Charleston and formerly of Horry County died April 13, 1961. Mr. Rabon was born in the Pleasant Union section of Horry County, Jan 3. 1901, a son the late William and Sarah Jean Rabon. He lived and farmed in the Pleasant Union section of Horry County until two years ago when he moved to Charleston. He was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Florrie Rabon, North Charleston; two sons, Vernell Rabon and J.R. Rabon both of Charleston; two daughters Mrs. Joseph Collins and Mrs. Hubert Alford, both of North Charleston; three brothers, Tobe Rabon and Sam Rabon, both of Rt. 1 Aynor and Walter Rabon, Rt. 2 Aynor and Walter Rabon, Rt. 2 Aynor; two sisters Mrs. Helen Graham, Georgetown and Mrs. Alice Tyler, Florence; and three grandchildren.
