Ed Frank December 23, 1921 - April 20, 2001

Graveside funeral services will be held in the West Side District Cemetery on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. for Ed Frank, 79. Rev. Sam White will officiate at the services.

Mr. Frank was born in Burley, Idaho on December 23, 1921 and passed away in Bakersfield on April 20, 2001.

Mr. Frank was raised in Fellows and attended Taft Union High School, graduating in 1939. He went on to college a USC and graduated with an Electrical Engineer Degree.

Mr. Frank served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Welles during World War II.

He married Betty Jean Ross in November 1948 and was employed by Standard Oil Company as an electrical engineer until his retirement.

Mr. Frank is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Frank of Bakersfield; his three sons and their wives, and his 6 grandchildren.

In memory of Ed donations may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.

There are no visitation hours scheduled and the arrangements are under the direction of the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home.
