Born on January 12, 1915 the daughter of Simeon McClain and Clara (Cross) McClain in Hancock, County, Indiana. She married Hoyt A. Addison in 1935 and he preceded her in death September 26, 1991.
Greta was a 1933 Graduate of Carthage High School. She was a member of the Raysville Friends Church.

Services for Greta are Friday, April 17, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Paul Enyart. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
