Henry was the great Grandson of Wilhelm and Gabriele Dionst Klein and John and Eva Eulen Mieser of Germany.

Son of Heinrich Klein from Ockstadt, Oberhessen, Hessen, Germany and Elizabeth May Meiser Klein from Neuen,Gronau, Hessen Capel Germany.

The Klein family were Catholic, but, the Immanuel Lutheran Church was the only Church available in 1884. Catholics and other religious denominations were invited to worship with the Lutherans until their Churches were built.

Henry worked as a hand on the farm of a young couple named Riddle and when his father decided to return to Germany Henry stayed on in Crab Orchard, KY and his 3 sissters, Elizabeth May, Anna (Bessie) and Eva accompanied their mother to St. Bernard Ohio, where Elizabeth ran a rooming house.

Henry married Anna Lee Tilfrey on March 2, 1907 in Savoy, Whitley County, KY.

They had 4 children:

Nannie Lou Klein
Mary Edna Klein
George Ancil Klein.

Henry was a member of the Crab Orchard Christian Church.

Worked as track worker and Section Foreman for the Louisville and Nashville Railroad for 39 years and 9 months.
