Beatrice (Bea) Stewart was the daughter of Robert and Anna Start Stewart. They had the following children: Rose, Mae, Anna, Beatrice, Ruth and

Beatrice Stewart married Anthony (Tony) D'Amato July 17, 1927 and they had 3 children: Virginia (Gina), Elizabeth (Betty) and Gerald (Jerry) Robert.

Bea had an extraordinary ability to overcome any obstacles within her path. She exhibited unusual talent during the Great Depression years when money, food and clothing were scarse. She did this with a cheerful,light-hearted "things will be better" attitude.

If there wasn't enough food and unexpected company arrived, that didn't phase her; she would set another plate at the table and like the Lord who "fed the multitudes" she set about preparing and stretching the food she had on hand and everyone left the table satisfied.

She had many talents, one being able to sew clothing by making her own patterns. She was able to remake clothes into new shapes and forms to fit her needs.

She had an extraordinary attitude and enthusiasm for life which was a joy to behold.

She was an excellent mother and wife and an example to all who knew her.
