Robert "Buster" Buchanan, was a resident of Prattville. He was a retired truckdriver and steeler hauler; served his country in the south Pacific in the Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Clay Buchanan and Della Ann Foster Buchanan; sisters, Mildred Jane Buchanan, and Fern Fletcher; brother, Harry Clay Buchanan. He was survived by his wife, Ethel (who passed away in 1990), and his brothers, Bill and Chatt (who are now deceased). He and Ethel were childless, but loved by many nephews and nieces, they were especially close to niece Martha (Martie) Cawvey, who was more like a daughter.
