Della Foster Buchanan was a long-time resident of Tulsa and Sand Springs. She was active in the Eastern Star with her daughter, Mildred. She married Henry Clay Buchanan and they observed their golden wedding anniversary in November, 1958. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 1959, and by her daughter Mildred Buchanan, a Tulsa police matron, in 1960. She was survived by her daughter Fern Fletcher, of Prattville, sons: Chatt Buchanan, Prattville; Harry Buchanan, Tulsa; Robert (Buster)Buchanan, Prattville, and Bill Buchanan of Mannford (unfortunately, all of her children were deceased by OCT. 2000). She is survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
