Roy was born to Roy and Wilberta (Coombs) Brading. He served in the United States Air Force and later worked as a truck driver delivering gas for Standard Oil Company/Chevron Oil Company. He loved the outdoors; enjoyed camping, fishing, and also taxidermy. He was a professional boxer when he was younger. Roy got headaches often which earned him the nickname "Sammy Sorehead" at work by my father, Harold Wayne Eiland. Roy had a quick wit and made others smile and laugh often. He was my dad's dearest friend and his youngest daughter, Becky was my best friend. Roy was preceded in death by his father, Roy V. Brading. He is survived by his wife, a son, and two daughters, all of Tampa; his mother, Wilberta M. Brading and a brother, Robert A. Brading of California. He is also survived by many loyal friends and coworkers. Roy was loved and will be missed dearly by so very many.
