In the 1930 census Alton and Ethel had children Ruth F. age 15, Floyd J. age 8, Glenn A. age 5 and baby Vera N. In that census Alton was a dairy farmer and owned his farm in Wilton. By 1940 they had added a son Merle V. then age 7 to the family. They had also lost their third child, a male, to premature birth in 1916 in Salem Maine.
Died age 83, resident of East Wilton, Franklin County, Maine.
