Gregory John Schmidt, eight-year-old son of Mr and Mrs Paul F Schmidt, 6429 West Washington Center Rd, died at 8:30 am today in St Jude's Children's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
The boy was a third grade pupil at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran School.
Also surviving are a brother, Calvin, at home and the grandmothers, Mrs. Helen Schmidt, Allen County, and Mrs. Naomi Schumm, Willshire, Ohio.
Services will be at 1:30 pm Thursday in Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, the Rev Raymond Weber officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
