AIKEN (--) Services for Charles Bollin Whitaker, M.D., will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26,2001 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church with farewell prayers in Calvary Cemetery. A vigil will be 7 p.m. Friday at the church. Visitation will follow services until 9 p.m. Rivers Funeral Home is in charge.
Dr. Whitaker died Monday. Born in Columbia, he was a son of James and Agnes Whitaker. He was a U.S. Army Medical Corps World War II veteran.
Surviving are daughters, Virginia Whitaker, Dorothy Bedard, Jean Kudach, Patricia Dunham; sons, Charles Jr, Michel Whitaker; sister, Emily White; 13 grandchildren.
