On May 5, 1975, he was promoted to Brigadier General and assumed the duties of Commander, U.S. Army Financial and Accounting Center. His decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with three oak leaf clusters, and the Parachutist Badge.
